The Wulingyuan World Heritage Park is a World Heritage Park located in far southern Diamanto, bordered on the south only by the Arveyran province of Gerona. Wulingyuan was originally designated a protected wilderness area under the Nature Preservation Resolution. However, in 2016 the Aloian delegation to the Esamir General Assembly introduced successful legislation, the World Heritage Park Resolution, to convert the park into a World Heritage Park despite native Geronese disapproval with the conversion of the Nature Preserve to a Heritage Site.

Features[]

The park gets its name from the Geronese creation tale of the mountains in which a God named Wu created the mountains to protect the Geronese from the northern tribes. Although not home to human civilization anymore, it was one of the original homes of the six Geronese tribes, primarily the Haksan and Koyu tribes. The tribes occupied the mountains in the late 1st millennium, but moved further south and integrated with the other tribes. The name of the park in English is "the Valiant Mountains".

It is noted for more than 3,000 sandstone pillars and peaks across most of the site, many over 200 meters in height, along with many ravines and gorges. Many of the rivers and gorges are the host of pools, lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and streams. It features many caves with natural calcite deposits, and two natural bridges, Xianrenqiao (Bridge of the Immortals) and Tianqiashengkong (Bridge Across the Sky). The scenic area consists of four parks, one of which is shared in part by Arveyres in North Gerona: Zhangjiajie, Suoxi, Tianzi, and Yangjiajie. Overall, there are over 500 attraction sights throughout the park.
